HOW IT GOT STARTED
My son, known on this site as L, was diagnosed with Suspected Apraxia of Speech in 2018. After a good cry, and a million questions to our speech therapist, I got to work collecting all the information and resources about Apraxia I could find.
A is for Apraxia is truly my own little passion project where I chronicle our family's experience with Apraxia, organize my research, and share the educational resources I create for L. Take a look around; I hope you’ll discover answers for some of the questions you have, absorb some encouragement, and just feel understood. Read on and enjoy!
